Seagreen are manufacturers of furnishing fabrics for contract, leisure and domestic interiors. All production takes place in Scotland on the companies 18 dobby looms and 4 jacquard looms. Pure new wool is used primarily to meet the technical requirements of contract interiors, but decorative yarns and fibres are used to enhance design scope. Seagreen have enjoyed organic growth that has allowed the company to develop and maintain a brand presence in the market. With an exceptionally high profile client list, vast market experience, both price and design lead projects Seagreen can easily be differentiated from competitors.
Company Background
Seagreen acquired by the present owners some 16 years ago manufacture in the Scottish Borders capitalising on the area's workforce who are, traditionally, highly skilled in the manufacture of woollen textiles. Allied services such as spinning and finishing are all available onsite enabling the company to offer an excellent service. UK Sales and Marketing is headed by Gary Bramble, maximising the combination of specialist agents and sales representatives. Also the company directors travel the export markets and all administration and customer service is handled by Seagreen's head office at Gala Mill, Galashiels.
Services Provided
Seagreen offers architects and interior designers an extensive stock supported range of fabrics with all the inherent characteristics required for use in contract environments. This is substantiated by an instant response sampling service. Special developments for major projects and particularly for export customers are undertaken by close liaison with consultant designers who travel the market with Seagreen representatives providing a custom design service.
